LORY LEIGH COMEAU

The founder of Pink Pizza Events, Twenty-Nine year old Lory has been in the industry for over eight years. Working with the top corporations in the event industry like New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, Soho Publishing, Vogue Knitting, and NYC’s landmark Essex House, Miss Comeau has earned her stripes.

Now that her baby, Pink Pizza Events, has been featured in Manhattan Bride, Essence Magazine, multiple blogs and become an accredited vendor on The Knot, Kleinfelds and Wedding Wire she is taking the events industry by storm.  Among Pink Pizza’s corporate client list, are CitiGroup, GroupM Next and Nationwide Insurance.  With her large list of industry relationships and hands on experience, Lory was able to double her company’s projected financial growth in just 9 months in today’s economy.

Lory’s first planning event was creating and executing a fashion show fundraiser at the age of 14 at Baldwin Senior High School. The event was so successful it became an annual fundraiser.  Lory attended the esteemed Fordham University and ultimately received her degree from Hunter College. 

Prior to establishing Pink Pizza Lory had a hand in some of NYC’s most fabulous, red-carpeted and star-studded events like Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, the GLAAD Awards and the Gracie Allen Awards where Maya Angelou was the top honoree.

Lory is a member of The National Association of Women Business Owners and she is on the Programs and Events Committee for the New York Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives.

In 2012, Lory, along with her Pink Pizza Events team, was named the Best Event Designer in New York by the Wedding Industry Experts.  PPE also made the Top Ten List of Best Event Designers in USA and Worldwide.

In 2013, Pink Pizza Events was named the Best Wedding Planning Service in New York and in the USA by the Wedding Industry Experts.  PPE also made the Top Three List of Best Wedding Planning Services Worldwide.

Pink Pizza Events is a boutique “A La Carte” Event Planning firm that delivers perfection by combining YOUR unique vision with our years of professional experience. We specialize in Weddings, Corporate Events, Destination Management, Social and Non-Profit events of all themes and sizes.  Lory Leigh started Pink Pizza Events after years in the industry knowing, as a consumer herself, that it would be helpful to have a planner who could pinpoint exactly what made each client and event unique.  Everyone should feel like at least one aspect of their event was truly “theirs”. That’s how Pink Pizza came to be – other than the color pink and pizza being 2 of Lory’s favorite things.
